I, like many others I’m afraid, knew of only the Ike Turner that the media has painted a picture of as a monster that was a leech to people with talent. But upon watching the series on The Blues on PBS, I saw an amazing musician with a direct link to the birth of modern music. To say that I was impressed is a gross under statement. Your true talent and amazing spirit poured through from the screen. You have definitely changed this man’s perspective for all time, along with everyone that I have spoken with who has seen the film.
